Professional and Career Development Loan

Professional and Career Development Loans are commercial bank loans that can be used to pay for work related learning. You can borrow between £300.00 and £10,000.00 to help support the cost of up to two years of learning (or three years if it includes one year’s relevant unpaid practical work). The government will pay the interest on the loan while you are learning and for one month afterwards. You will then need to start repaying the loan as you would any commercial loans product. The loan can be used to pay course fees or other costs such as travel and living expenses. You can also use the loan to supplement other forms of support such as grants or bursaries.

Terms & Conditions

Entry to all courses is at the discretion of the Principal. Candidates should arrange an interview to assess their suitability for training. Students from overseas are required to send a CV and photograph.

In most cases the following criteria will apply:

  • A standard of education equivalent to GCSE and ability to understand Anatomy and Physiology to a high level
  • A good command of English
  • A caring nature
Refund Policy

Full time courses (CIBTAC & CIDESCO)

Full time courses provide the ability to the student to pay by an upfront deposit and several instalments throughout the course. Our school is proud to offer this unique service to help the students with their finances. However, we regret that once paid, deposits and instalment payments cannot be refunded under any circumstances except in the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the school.

Short & Part time courses

If short & part time course bookings are cancelled by the student 30 days or more prior to the course start date, then the course fee can be transferred in full to an alternative course date if available or a refund will be made. This is subject to an administrative fee of 10%.  No refund will be made for bookings cancelled by the student less than 30 days prior to the start date.  However, pending availability we will transfer the course fee to the next available course. An administrative fee of 20% is applicable.

We regret that we cannot provide refunds or a transfer to another date for non-attendance on the day of the course.
